Varese's edition of some 20 years ago only carried half an hour of music. As one of the early iconic scores on which be billed himself as John Williams, and which marked a new direction in his career, this is worthy of an extended treatment. (In fact the device of the very sinister harmonica was re-used several years later in THE MISSOURI BREAKS.) Hopefully the Warner Brothers vaults will carry multi-track elements. (Interesting there was a "privately" pressed LP in the early '80's which had considerably more music, including possible alternate takes, than the Varese CD.)
