Speaking of other early Special Collection titles, Broughton's Miracle on 34th Street and Fielding's Lawman are two that I would like to see revisited. I didn't mention them earlier because I figured they would reappear eventually. I like to think that Lawman could be paired with some other out-of-print MGM title to make it a more palatable reissue.

Oh yeah, of course Night Crossing complete, I missed it 15 years ago in a store. I have never seen it again anymore anywhere...

The Quartet score "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes" is being sold on amazon right now, it's pricey, but it's a Great release and the seller is top notch.

The Digitmovies release of Morricone's I CANNIBALI. This one seems to have vanished from the planet.

Well, in my view, nothing seems really limited anymore. Just about anything you folks wish to see appear again is possible. Some labels even thrive primarily on releasing "limited editions" of other label's no longer available limited editions. So nothing really seems out of print now, just temporarily elusive. This really becomes apparent when you are putting a limited edition CD away on your shelf... right next to another copy of that same title that was a limited edition at one point.

We like to focus on premieres but reissues are part of our world as well. And we do keep your requests in mind, like those mentioned in this topic. So Night Crossing has my vote, as does Batteries Not Included and several others. I certainly have favorite earlier releases I want to revisit as time and resources permit.

Anyway, for most of the elusive CDs you "crave", it's probably just a matter of time before they reappear. Yes, that even includes I Cannibali which someone is asking about. Funny thing about collecting Morricone. His CDs really do just keep appearing again and again. In some cases I now have like four or five copies of the same score just moving from one label to another. It's pretty wild!

All released and sold out before I got into this game. Don't often appear on the 2nd hand market and way too expensive when they do.

I'm quite surprised that Ghostbusters hasn't been re-released yet, despite its generous pressing of 3,000 copies. It's just the kind of score that the bulk of today's market goes crazy for. Is it another one of the occasional Club titles that Varese retained the album rights to?

But, yes, I am very glad that Intrada largely focuses on premieres. I am especially happy that premieres of virtually unknown works still get released from time to time.
