How long is Beaches? I wonder, since Touchstone is a Disney company if it could be put on a disc with Something Wicked...

I had always hoped that Atlantic Records would issue an expanded soundtrack with the Midler tunes (which I can do without) and Delerue's complete score. Although there was a generous track or two on the 6-CD set, it's still missing some of my favourite dramatic background music. As it currently sits, the less-than-two minutes of Delerue music on the Atlantic album is a great insult to those who appreciate the score...

No there isn't much. However unlike some Delerue scores, I like every note of this one -- particularly the moving little bits under dialogue which have not made it to cd...

It could be 2 minutes long and still sell-out quickly. Limited edition Delerue CDs seem to be one of very few things to have kept sales momentum in this market.
