I played my crummy tape dub of this score, lifted direct from the film, the other day...WHAT GREAT MUSIC!!!
Now that Intrada have got their first Isham CD up-and-running, I hope Michael Convertino's OLYMPIAN music from this Disney film might be their first release of his stuff.
Well, one can dream!

Yes, it was released on DVD and it's now out on Blu-ray as well. Great film.

Still dreaming of a release for this baby!

Me, too!! Convertino is woefully under-represented on CD. Less than a third have seen commercial releases.

Short list of his scores worthy of being released: Milk Money, A Home of Our Own, Queen of Hearts, The Doctor and The Waterdance.

Never saw the film, but I am a fan of much of Convertino's work. That said, I have a feeling this would have a chance of selling out only if limited to twenty copies.

It's a quality score that I think would have decent appeal if many people who are unfamiliar with the film gave the music a bit of a listen.

I'm a sucker for big orchestral "victory" cues, which is mostly why I like this and Silvestri's score for American Anthem so much.
