I think it is now imperative that
CONDORMAN
get released this year as well!

This is fantastic news! I had not dared to hope for the original tracks of Mancini scores that had an RCA album, and you start off with one of my favorites!!!

As I had been away for a week or so I only found out about this release late last night. This is so marvellous, I just can't find the words to properly express my delight. I've loved this music (and Mancinin's score for Hatari) since the films first release. As a youngster I used to buy all of the Mancini film themes 45rpm issues and I still have most of them. After all these years to finally have the original tracks in such a lovely package is beyond my expectations. All I can say right now is thanks to everyone at Intrada, one of the all-time great film music labels!

Guess what label is planning to re-release the expanded version of CHARADE on CD?!
Or just some sort of expansion, they were not all that clear other than to say, "it's a really important release with informative explanatory notes."

CHARADE is still readily available from Intrada!

They've also done what is apparently a newly Frankensteined 2014 edition of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S, padding out the original album with "previously unreleased" () film tracks and calling it "full-length."

So they're now leeching off of Intrada's hard work to put out unlicensed product. Even worse, wasn't the 50-year EU copyright protection rule for recordings extended to 70 years?

At least those who know better know where to get the real deal. Those who also want Mancini's re-recorded albums can look forward to that presumably affordable 11-CD set that Sony Music will release later this year.

It seems to be indeed a mere re-release of the original soundtrack album Mancini put out.
