What I don't understand: why was this release limited at all? I mean, it was recorded in Italy, so there are none of those AFM-restrictions. I think it would have been a better idea to release this double CD as a normal Intra-title (like "Silverado"). With the option to repress if the market allows.

Now repressing a limited title - which causes always a lot of hype even before the title is released (or even known) - is not a good idea. The labels (not only Intrada, but also Varèse, FSM, Buysoundtrax etc.) are releasing more and more titles marketed as "limited" because they want to sell the titles rather soon. It has become a "buy it now or it's gone" mentality. Now, "Inchon", was sold very soon. Intrada has reached the target. Many collectors like me are happy to have placed their order in time. When repressing a limited title the question is: why the whole "limited" business at all? Why not repressing other limited titles like "Bandolero" etc.

I'd love to buy a copy, when / if it's going to be reprinted. I cannot understand why those who own a copy complain about Intrada's consideration. Inchon went out so fast, that there wasn't a real chance for everybody to decide. Things were different with Bandolero for example: The time between announcement and sellout was long enough for almost everybody to weigh up if he'd buy this item or risk that in a few days it would be sold out although he had the opportunity and yet didn't take it. Inchon is already a big exception in this business of limited copies. I guess hardly another limited item went off that fast and i think that's also what Doug thought. It was just too fast to give every potential customer the chance to decide at least one time. If he then decided wrong, that's his problem.
Therefore you could make a big exception and give everyone this opportunity back. If it will sell out after a week, you could say, everybody had their chance, I guess. And i don't believe that many people who are against a reprint really have good reasons when you consider the quite exceptional situation Intrada's in with Inchon.
