I remember Doug announcing recently that there was going to be another release in their Excalibur re-recording series this year. Assuming it's not the long-promised reissue of their superb Rio Conchos (with extra End Credits cue)...any chance of an Intrada/Tribute co-production?

The Tribute team has not announced official plans beyond their imminent release of The Adventures of Don Juan. Perhaps Doug can persuade them to tackle Friedhofer's Joan of Arc (which he specifically longed for in another thread) or heck more Herrmann would always be great too, considering Bill's mastery of his idiom.

Based almost entirely upon Doug's rave of the new Battle of Neretva socre by the Tribute team, I've ordered the disc. Love me my Herrmann music. Love me my Stromberg/Morgan collaborations. Can't wait to get this CD!

I purchased FAHRENHEIT 451 and THE BATTLE OF NERETVA recently. Both are gorgeous albums.

THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD and THE SNOWS OF KILIMANJARO are nice re-recordings, as well.

I'd love it if they re-recorded OBSESSION. I'm sure I'm not alone, either!

It's just too hard to pick one favorite, but one that just keeps getting better and better for me is Max Steiner's THE ADVENTURES OF MARK TWAIN. One of the loveliest Americana scores ever, IMHO, and M&S did it perfectly.

I was recently reminded of this thread.

A pity nothing seemed to come of the meeting described in the Doug's Corner post I mentioned above. Tribute + Intrada would've been a match made in heaven. Think of it: a complete The Bride Wore Black...Endless Night...Joan of Arc...Night of the Hunter. I'm sure Intrada has more great re-recordings in the planning stages now, but I do wish they could've been with John, Bill, and Anna. Here's hoping Tadlow's Moonraker Kickstarter will prompt them to give Kickstarter a go for another Moscow recording!

Since Stromberg and Morgan have stopped recordings for financial reasons, what are they doing now? I loved almost all of their recordings, great stuff!

Roger & Doug, Is there any chance you can work with Anna, Bill & John on future CDs?

The Tribute team gave us many great CDs not only on their own Tribute label but also on Marco Polo / Naxos and BMG.

Roger, Doug, any thoughts?

Doug, thanks for your reply to PFK's post. I love all your re-recording "dreams";especially SAHARA and JOAN OF ARC. I hope to see one of these posted on the Intrada website someday soon. My reaction would be very simple- YAHOO !
