By the way, Mark (my webhamster) mentioned there may be some muddled communications regarding the Prologue and Anvil Of Crom. Yes, we are including the Prologue, segueing into the Anvil Of Crom just as Poledouris intended. It was the opening narration by Mako that I was mentioning would not be included.

Whether we include that narration as an extra (perhaps with the film assemblies of the cues discussed earlier) is still under consultation around here. But worry not: you will get all that wonderful percussion for the very first scene that so excitingly segues into the familiar credit music.

And remember: trust not man nor woman nor beast. This... (holding up shiny CD)... this you can trust.

Speaking for myself, I hope the Mako narration makes it on somewhere -- it's fantastic! HIGH adventure!

I'm with Intrada on this; don't include the narration. This should be all centered on Basil, his fantastic score, and the players involved in that magic. I love Mako, and I love the film, but how about we get the definitive Conan the Barbarian (the music), and leave the narration where it belongs: within the film experience.

Will all the fans contributing with their suggestions get a thank you mentioning in the cd booklet just as the contributors got thanked by "name" on the Danny Elfman 25th Anniversary book/collectionathon.- -that would be cool. Actualy it would mean a lot to the fans of both Conan and Basil Poledouris. Just an idea- not to be taken seriously, ofcourse
