Funeral Home was recorded in Canada and unfortunately, the Canadian musicians union can do its own thing. As in the case here -- they will not honor the US historic rate. The AFM really tried to make a case to them, but they were steadfast in not changing their position. Therefore, in order to do this project, we have to pay a significantly higher new use rate. My first reaction was, that kills this project. Which is a shame.

We had already transferred the 2" 24-track elements. The music sounds spectacular. It's important because it's Fielding's last score and it's a horror score. He didn't have many (any) of those and it's actually a very strong score.

But I figured out a way we can do it. We may only break even, but we could do it if we sell 1200 units at $29.99. I'm passionate about making this project happen because I really like the score. I just don't want folks to scream bloody murder when they see the price tag. Now you know why.

I will gladly purchase a copy of this release. I grab every Jerry Fielding score that gets released. It is nice to know that we get a heads up on the price point. When it gets announced I will purchase it.

It's not a score I know and might not normally have gone for it. However, given an increasing interest I have in Fielding, the recommendations given and my wish to support you, I will buy this.

I really appreciate your policy of openness with your buyers on this one. It strengthens the rapport and trust.

I´m not that much into Fielding either, but if Intrada releases this, I will buy it as a blind buy because
1. It´s a horror score,
2. I will support a label that works for the fans
3. This actually peaked my interest as the composer isn´t known for any horrorscores
4. 30$ isn´t much when talking limited edition and Intrada comes up front too about why it will cost this...
5. If this would be a score I desired, I would likely pay alot more too

It depends on what is released at the same time, but considering the fact I own all the scores by Fielding released by Intrada, I'll buy it anyway.

You´ll have my 30 dollars for sure. Compared to what a new CD costs in a record store here in Sweden (not many of those stores left, sorry to say) the difference is minimal.

Still hoping for You guys, or FSM, to get lucky with the scores Fielding (and others) created for the Malpaso produced films!

I want this score. Great news! Fielding is a must have for me.
