LP originally released in 1977 on MCA label. A beautiful score from Jack Nitzsche, arranged by Dick Hazard. You know I haven't listened to this score for quite awhile yet the theme lingers in my head like a pleasant memory.
I remember the film as being not so good. It was hard to accept Henry Winkler as a serious actor after all of that Fonzy Fonzarelli happy days horseshit, especially in the role of a disturbed Vietnam veteran. It's been years since I've seen the film... perhaps I'd have a different opinion today.
The score is pure quality. Sentimental without becoming mauldlin.
