I have half of the Special Collection titles and more or less I like all of them, it's hard to pick the 'best' so I rather pick the one which was the most pleasant and unexpected surprise to me, which was.....

Which is one of the best western scores ever! Excellent music, excellent sound quality, stunning powerful themes, unbelievably great work. Thanks ever so much for this release!

I think my favorite so far is still Shire's THE CONVERSATION.

I'll have to agree with Dorian, the LAWMAN was an exceptional release and really raised the bar. In my opinon, it's been the best presented release that INTRADA has done - everything about it was great. Loved the graphics (especially the cover) and detailed liner notes and was elated to discover that the score had aged as well as it did.

I've got a soft spot for Jack the Bear - it's a very understated and underrated score. with some interesting and different sounds from Horner.

Broughton's Narrow Margin is very good also.

We need a list for a reminder, to pick out the best / most favorite one.

I can't tell which one is the best (which should take into account a first release, an expansion, technical achievements, ...), but as for favorites:
Roughing It,
then (in no particular order, or mabye Broughton's first) Miracle on 34th Street, Bandolero!, Lawman, Lock Up, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte.

I'm missing a few out of these, and particularly regret having missed The Enemy Below.

It's tough to choose between CAPRICORN ONE and THE CONVERSATION. Keep up the good work!

I'd have to go with Capricorn One though I love Brubaker and Miracle On 34th.

While I love Capricorn One, the Planet of the Apes TV series and many of the others, I'd have to say that my favorite is still The Conversation. I never thought that I would ever see an album release for this score, which is fantastic. One of Shire's best.
