I think it's always GREAT to have the best of both worlds (film tracks AND re-recording as conducted by the composer).

Thanks to Disney, Mr. Goldsmith and Intrada.

The Blue Max. The improvement in sound quality is amazing. Listening to this score is now a pleasure. I always found it a bit of a frustrating listen before.

Enemy below. Although i am not that Harline-Fan i could lay my hands on a copy of this score....at this point together with "House of bamboo" my favourite. The only thing i dislike a little bit are the source cues at the end but that´s only a matter of taste.

The Conversation. Very minimalistic score by Shire but listen to it from time to time. I am always surprised that this CD hasn´t sold out already

Something Wicked This Way Comes - That wonderful "End Titles" track is what made me buy the album, but the entire album is just wonderful. Love the detailed orchestration and the crisp mixing... just perfect. You guys outdid yourselves with both the music and the artwork for the CD.

Ivanhoe (Rozsa, Excalibur) Excellent rerecording. Prefer it over the Rhino-Recording.

Inchon, 2 disk edition. "Love Theme" is playing as I post this. Simply gorgeous. And I love the dark, driving rhythm of "Main Title".

Beautiful Score. Some passages remember me to Craig Safans Remo Williams.

Now Playing: Hour of the gun (Goldsmith), love the LP-Cover

Better late than never, right? I've had "Son of the Morning Star" for years, played it a number of times, but only now at this moment has Craig Safan's music leapt out and really GRABBED me. Don't you LOVE when that happens??? :D
