Intrada Soundtrack Forum

This is an exceptional CD. I just got it from BMG CD club for $7.12 including tax and shipping. It seems John Powell is much better when paired with another composer. His 3 scores with Harry Gregson Williams (Shrek, Antz, Chicken Run) are among my favorites. I really don't care for any of his solo works except for PS I Love You. This is extremely well done and very enjoyable. I heard a few snippets on the BMG site but I was not prepared for how great this is. I didn't see the movie. Its one of those you like instantly and gets better with each listening. I would rate this in my top 10 soundtracks and I have over 300. Don't miss this.

I really enjoy it too. Usually Zimmer's collaborations are hit-or-miss, but Kung Fu Panda is a great score from both composers.

It's almost like an epic Asian martial arts flick when separated from the film -- that's how good it is.
