Six scores on four EXTRENE new CD's??

Four new discs in March... well, between those, the release of The Big Empty, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, and Breakheart Pass I can pretty much kiss my birthday money goodbye.

Rumour has it that one of the releases will be Goldsmith's Boys from Brazil limited to 3000 copies. 4 CDs with 6 scores means there will be another double header limited to 2000 units and certainly another obligatory lp-to-CD reissue limited to 1000 units that will sell in a few hours.

We can only guess what the LP reissue may be, probably Silvestri's Cat's Eye, Bill Conti's The Formula or JNH's Russkies.

But I have no idea for the 'EXTREME new' hint.

Boys From Brazil was NOT a Club Release.... but it was limited edition release under the Master Film Music name through A&M Records in Canada. But does releasing an expanded version go against their policy?

They are on pacific time and they release at midnight. I stay up and order accordingly.

I am on the east coast. Looks like I'll be staying up really late or getting up really early.

I have the first mailer for the Varese Club and BOYS FROM BRAZIL was listed as sold out on the mailer, so it technically was not offered. On the other hand Goldsmith's SUITES AND THEMES was listed and did not sell out at least by their second offering. I have that mailer too.

As for the next LP transfer to CD, I will bet it's DEADLY FRIEND due to Charles Bernstein's comments on his own site.

Since all the LP "ports" have been just that, I would doubt we could get anything more...but here is what is on the site (which makes me believe it should be more):
