I'm very sorry some true fans will not be able to buy their own copy of Scorpio. I'm glad I was able to grab my own (along Williams' Cinderella Liberty), it's one of my favourite Fielding scores. In the past I missed several Fielding releases (The Wild Bunch complete and The Mechanic above all), so I'm happy this time I decided to act fast enough.

I guess in this case the "problem", if we can say so, is the limited pressing number. This score was known to be in high demand from many fans and probably it would have been better (if not wiser) if the limited run would have been set at 2,500 or 3,000 copies. Smaller numbers than those attract eBay plungers and people who really have nothing to do with film music lovers. We all know there are several people who have enough financial resources to buy 10 or 20 copies of these limited editions.

We live in an era dominated by insane high-velocity, it's somewhat absurd that people must hurry like crazy just to buy a record... I don't like this frenzy attitude, because I think it makes no sense.

What I want to know is who is buying all these cds? The amount of people who show appreciation for Fielding is quite small on this forum, ever smaller for the Scorpio soundtrack. Are these being bought by online music stores by the 100s? I agree with the above poster, why can't they simply press a further 1000?

Geesh, grow up!... and get in time for the releases! I don't understand your complain... really... and stop bashing INTRADA, 'cause maybe they weren't allowed to press more than 1'500 copies... that was part of the deal. Think about that!
I myself, also missed a few limited releases, but I didn't complain like a baby or started bashing people for what I missed. I found what I missed at ebay and such, eventhough I paid a "few" more bucks for them. [/quote]

Well I'm real glad that your up in time to order cds. I for myself need sleep before I go to work. Maybe you have trouble sleeping so you stay up all night on the net or maybe you are a bum with no job and hence plenty of time on your hands. Either way you're in no position to tell me to grow up or call me a baby. I think people should have a day or two to order not miss out after 7 small hours. Another clown who uses that stupid phrase "Geesh", you in my book are a baby, so YOU grow up

And I do have a job but I don't see what that has to do with anything??? If I can't order it at my job, I would simply ask a friend or anybody else, if they could help me out... that's a way to go.
Or hence, I will miss it and simply: SHUT THE F... UP!

And I can sleep easily (thanks for asking), eventhough I had to wake up at 2 A.M., every 2 weeks to grab my copy of these cool Intrada releases and NEVER complained that I was sleeping.
So, staying asleep is really, I mean really, a stupid reason for missing a limited release.

What I just don't understand is why you're in that position to just complain for something you stupiditly missed out, because you were sleeping??? That totally gets over my head... anyway, I should have just let it be.
