please is there any possibility of releasing anything by Georges Delerue on Intrada in the future? I am very surprised and disapointed a bit there is not a single CD by Delerue on Intrada, while there is so much of wonderful music still waiting to be discovered in his filmography...

Please, let us know if there is any possibility of tribute to this late and underrated maestro on Intrada or there is the only chance to wait for reissues on Varese Sarabande Club, when DCM has started releasing the re-recorded stuff that is unlistenable to my ears and kils Delerue's rich orchestral sound...

Universal France's Delerue discs are terrible ! No matter how is the music, their conception is totally not respecting the musical legacy. I am tired of them releasing one compilation after another, with suites and already known tracks while one or two of these scores in complete form would be possible and more interesting for the soundtrack fans.
We've already had so many of Delerue compilation, what's the point of "Le Polar selon G.D." and these things ... ? But they just won't stop doing it.

Well, I partially agree with you. Yes, some Delerue scores I would like to hear every note and the producer seems more inclined to do this with other composers in the series. I got " Le Polar Selon " yesterday and am absolutely thrilled to hear generous suites from such unreleased gems as " Le Crime Ne Paie Pas " and I can now retire my 25 year old cassette of " Pleins Feux sur Stanislas " as well. For now I am grateful for these " crumbs "; if worse comes to worse we can burn our own CD-Rs of all the various fragments.
