Hi,
Maybe this is a stupid question but I don't understand what the reason is.
Also, what are the greatest disadvantages of those CDRs compared to normal CDs?

Burning CDRs is cheaper than manufacturing pressed discs and allows the producer to dynamically meet the exact demand with little-to-no waste. Given that so few people buy CDs anymore, we now see a higher percentage of CDRs being offered. Pressed CDs are generally deemed more reliable in the long-term due to less wear on data pits, but I'm not sure how that plays out these days.

Regardless of how they are made, it is always best to back up the content onto hard drives, or even better, SSDs.

Does this mean that, in the near future, the specialized labels (like Intrada) who have less access to the 'big money' will be doing that as well (or only digital releases)?
