Why do some releases have a specific quantity of copies (i.e., 3000) but some titles are 'unlimited'?

And who is the one to decide when the interest runs dry - You?
Or when someone is going to decide to buy a cd of music he really likes
and can afford( if he can find it at all) without having to pay
an arm and a leg in the secondary markets
because the
Item went oop within the first month of its release-
Which itself proves your point totally wrong and the interest
for a good score never really runs dry!
Keep doing the thing you do Intrada and you re going
to loose many more of your supporters-
And then you will have only yourself to blame...

Er wow, no need to be so harsh. 'Interest runs dry' simply means a disc has stopped selling at a reasonable pace. Since they are the ones selling it, they can obviously see when this is.
There's only so much space to store physical discs, and they DO cost money to make. Keeping everything in print just because someone down the line 'might' want it years later isn't feasible. Sure it can suck when only only discover something after it's OOP (we've ALL been there) but you have to consider the realities of life.

Don't even bother explaining, Doc. The "SonicLester" guy's a troll with some kind of vendetta against Intrada specifically, for whatever stupid reason that goes beyond this discussion.
