Despite some great stuff like Amazing Stories and Saturn 3, my personal favorite of these is Bruce Broughton's Tombstone. It isn't the first release of this score, and it's not a "limited edition" (which may give some the extra kick to be among the happy few who managed to procure a copy), but dang, it's such a terrific score (in good sound). And I didn't own the previous release. |

17 so far, plus one more to come (even though as a pre-order), that's 18 in a year, ie 1.5 per month, with a few double-discers! I got these immediately: BLIZZARD ELOISE AT THE PLAZA/ELOISE AT CHRISTMASTIME THE PICK-UP ARTIST/SHERLOCK HOLMES IN NEW YORK SATURN 3 INCHON AMAZING STORIES - ANTHOLOGY 2 AMAZING STORIES IN FROM THE NIGHT/SILVER BELLS AMAZING STORIES TOMBSTONE HOUSE OF BAMBOO I have considered getting these for some time, but have been procrastinating (other things to get first, and guessing they would be around for some time-- case in point: I finally ordered Spartacus along with Blizzard)): THE REVOLT OF MAMIE STOVER/HILDA CRANE MAJOR DUNDEE THE LOST WORLD/FIVE WEEKS IN A BALLOON These, quite frankly, did not appeal to me (I did listen to the samples), and I am sure someone who loves this scores will be glad to get the copy I didn't buy and which I would hardly have played: THE DRIVER/STAR CHAMBER BLACK WIDOW This one-- I don't know yet; it's on the fence; I'll listen to the samples again (and may thus buy it) later: TROLL That's 11/17 (64.706%) I did get plus 3/17 (17.647%) I am interested in (which would make it 82.353%)-- the meaning of all this this being not that I deserve a medal but that I was greatly interested in most of Intrada's 2006 releases; and I have played them a lot. |

I bought all of these except for the Michael Small scores (not interested), Major Dundee (haven't gotten around to it yet), and The Lost World/Five Weeks in a Balloon (still not sure). Back at ya later |
