I think you mean "Emperor of the North" ... there was talk of it a while ago, and it's a great suggestion, but I think the tapes were lost so a re-recording was the only option.

Most of the Columbia-tapes from the 60s are lost, so I think there are no great chances for Cat Ballou. Same goes for Kiss Me Deadly and I believe for Attack too. Both are from United Artists.

Would love to see "Ulzana's Raid" (but, alas its Universal), and a host of other DeVol scores (most "held" by the same production company). Also here's an obscure one for you. A score for the TV Show "The Delphi Bureau".....WarnerBros./ABC. Made by the same folks that brought us The Man From Uncle (I believe), and to tell you the truth, when I first heard the title score/theme, I thought that producer Sam Rolfe had engaged the services of Jerry Goldsmith and asked him for a similar theme to "Uncle".....only a bit more restrained and serious. Very nice title theme. Would love to see it as a bonus track on a Devol album (would buy the album just for that particular theme!). Thanks. A Happy New Year to all !
