Shooking news: composer, arranger, orchestrator Shirley Walker has died after brain aneurism. This is a very sad piece of news: after Delerue, Kamen, Goldsmith and Poledouris, my true heroes die the one after the other. Oh dear, This passing away business is getting to be too much. 2006 is fast becoming another year of loss equal to 2004. Shirley Walker was always reliable and now she has passed on too soon. |
