Very few things irritate my OCD more than hearing an amazing song made for film and not knowing the performer.

Case in point is the unused song for High Plains Drifter. As the lyrics go: "Who is this man?"

Yeah it's frustrating. I do wonder why things are just uncredited so often.

(That said, perhaps a bigger pet peeve of mine is pretty much universal to soundtracks where classical discs almost never have the issue -- the crediting of a person or ensemble on a per track basis. Which tracks are choral? Which have the solo trumpet? Etc)
