Awesome news, Roger. I prefer that sequencing too, and always thought the score's Chinese Love Theme (which Goldsmith used in the original version of the overture) was superior to the "main" love theme (which replaced it in the final film version).

I never did see an answer as to why so many earlier Fox scores are riddled with imperfections and overall lack of fidelity. Is it the way the tapes were stored?
