World premiere is exactly month away now and the tickets are currently on sale at https://www.thesoraya.org/calendar/deta ... trami-2021 "I am very excited to debut and announce a new project that I’ve been working on called BACH BY BELTRAMI. This collection of material consists of reimagined and transformed versions of the legendary Bach Preludes like you’ve never heard before!! I will be stepping onto the The Soraya stage live at California State University, Northridge for a special performance, Thu., March 3, 2022 at 8PM with tickets going on sale September 21, 2021 for members & October 12, 2021 for the public. Joining me will be showstoppers Sandy Cameron and Lucia Micarelli on violin, Eric Byers on the cello, soprano Holly Sedillos and Robert Thies on piano with the ensemble, Delirium Musicum!! A lot of hours and creativity went into this project and I cannot wait to share it with you all. Interesting, I suppose. It would be more interesting to hear Beltrami do Beltrami when removed from the shackles of film industry whims. |

Wow! It sounds amazing  . It's great that our favorite film music composers are exploring other musical areas. Although, I'm afraid this means that something is dying in the film music world. In fact, something has been dying there for the last decade or so...
