 Post subject: I just pulled out my Willow CD.....

...and discovered that there are HOLES in it! Not holes all the way through, mind you, but the aluminum part of the CD... just the clear plastic coating is there where the holes are! While I didn't play the entire CD, I started from the beginning and got about 3 tracks in, and up until then, it still plays.
Does anyone else have a copy of it with holes in it?

Mine does not have holes, but over the years, the printed surface has become "tacky", sticky -- like paint that is not fully dried. Only on the printed side; the play side seems unaffected. Last I tried it still played ok -- but the state of both your and my CD suggests Virgin Records pressings have issues.

Hey Paul....
While you're at it, check your copy of Intrada's NxNW CD and see if it makes that horrible "helicopter" noise....IF you have that CD! :D
