Unless the album featured different takes/performances from the film, it makes very little sense for Land Before Time to be a two disc set. Balto wasn’t, was it? An American Tail? The Land Before Time is only missing a single long cue (or two cues perhaps with no pause between them in the film). If someone wants the original album I’m sure they can easily program out the one cue they don’t want.

Two memorable films and scores from two of my favourite composers. The Last Castle is really one of my best prison movies of all time with Shawshank Redemption and Jerry's music is very profound and intimate, very great score! 1988 for Horner its one of his great year, Willow and Land before time recorded in London with the LSO sound so good and Shawn Murphy had done such an excellent job!

So, LBT does have fifteen minutes missing but it's divided into to tracks.
Someone mentioned it was one long track.
