Rebuilt and remastered! I hadn't played it in awhile, but I forgot what an epic, stunning work this is.

There was a few years period when I occasionally searched eBay for a copy of this, but never managed to find one. Now I don't want it because the long search created devastating memories.

Kidding. Looking forward to this.

Interesting! I know there's been a large demand for this for some time. A few times I considered selling my copy of the original edition, considering it was going regularly for over $200. I'm wondering if you're willing to expand on "rebuilt and remastered" -- were new elements found? Did someone like Chris Malone work on this? I don't remember the earlier album sounding bad by any means so I'm curious how much room for improvement there is.

Speaking of epic, stunning Rosenthal that could use a rebuild and remaster though... this has given me a bit of new hope that Intrada might do the same for their even older album of his Bourne Identity score, one of my favorites of his. Any chance, Roger? I think there's a lot of unreleased music for that one too, and I probably want that more than any other Rosenthal I can think of at the moment...

Nice,
ISC #7 returns from 2002!
Oddly enough I passed on getting this the first time around.

Second pressing is the charm

Wow, I can't believe it's been that long. I knew I needed this score in my collection from the moment I first heard the main title; I should have paid attention when the first issue was available. Rosenthal is amazing.

Mastering technology and tools have evolved a lot since 2002. So same elements same engineer (Doug), but able to get much better sound. Bourne is my favorite Rosenthal miniseries and I've asked about renewing our license, so I would love to revisit it.

I’m not familiar with this score, so I’ll have to consider giving this a shot.

On a somewhat different track, what’s the elements status on Rosenthal’s Becket (I.e. does anything of this score survive outside of what appeared on the original soundtrack album?)?

Nope. And now even the LP master is missing...

Is that a Saul Bass design?
