He then heads to the Irish coast and plays selections from John Williams’ brilliant score for the Ron Howard film, FAR AND AWAY, recently released in expanded form from La La Land Records. Jason then plays music from the new Varese Sarabande Records remastering of Joseph LoDuca’s ARMY OF DARKNESS. Great interview with Brad Fiedel. He is very open about the reasons he 'quit' scoring movies and it was interesting to hear that he had a meeting with James Cameron for the scoring of Titanic - I'd be very curious about what kind of score he would provide to that movie (and where would his career have gone) in case he was chosen instead of Horner. |
