I have a question. After the track The Long Climb in the film you hear Music from Rambo II Escape from Torture Edited. Did Jerry Goldsmith wrote Music for that Scene? Cheers you all. |

The story as I heard it said that while Goldsmith was in Europe recording his score for “Rambo III”, the movie was edited back in LA to the extent that a lot of his music didn’t fit any more. The solution was to slice and dice what they could make fit the new timings and use bits of the second film where they couldn’t. Fortunately for us, Intrada came to the rescue!

Count me as grateful we have this one well represented on disc too. The movie didn't grab me but Jerry did some lovely Eastern-flavored music and the action writing packs a punch. The revisiting of all the major themes give Jerry's RAMBO series a proper sendoff. Thanks, everyone! |
