I know this probably isn’t the best place to ask but does anybody know the best method of extracting score from a film. I know audacity has a vocal remover but it really only muffled the audio. Any feedback would be appreciated

Sorry, Big Bob, there is no way to extract the score from a film sans dialogue and effects. Once upon a time when most VHS and LD soundtracks were 2 matrixed Dolby surround channels you might have some luck getting the music in the surround track in the clear with an audio tap from the surround channel but it was not in stereo or full dynamics.
