hello. the other day I left a track listing in the suggestion box for a complete release of the score for 1990's ARACHNOPHOBIA. Its missing an incredible amount of music so I've been praying to the gods that either intrada or La-La lad records would release an expanded score but it doesn't seem to have any future chance. Got me thinking, and I assume either the music is in Amblin or Disney's vault. I know that it exists as well because in the behind the scenes documentary you can hear the unreleased cues from when the spider escapes from the mortuary and bits from the final cellar fight. So if this ever has a chance of being released it would probably be if Intrada has ties to Disney. So I guess I'm wondering does intrada have any connection with Disney and if so does this have a chance of ever being released? |

I think this is among Trevor Jones's better work, and if I'm not mistaken Shirley Walker also contributed some cues? Roger, I'm on the record now that I'll buy any Shirley Walker music Intrada releases. I know John Takis already has made some suggestions to you from the Disney vaults (though many of them were TV and probably sadly off limits, for now?) but I will buy literally anything of hers. I think so far Intrada has only put out her additional music for White Fang and The Black Stallion. Yavar |

thanks for both of your replies, Shirley walker did indeed write a lot of it, mainly the cellar fight and some earlier parts. She also temp scored poltergeist so a lot of the cues can be heard in arachnophobia that were used in poltergeist. |
