It seems that the labels have forsaken any attempt to provide a great listening expeteience.
Instead, we are being provided with a " collection of cues" in the words of Mattesino.
This is an unfortunate development especially as the composers themselves , when given the chance, strived to give us a good listening experience.
As Morricone once said " nobody wants to listen to a bunch of twenty five second cues".
When I see a track list with forty cues on a CD ( WWW) I immediately reject a purchase.

When expansions first started, they often contained the ost and " bonus cues" . The series of 007 scores produced by Lukas Kendall are unsurpassed imho.
I wish that model would be revived.

I've made several albums out of Intrada releases.
I believe they greatly enhance the listening experience.
