That Unreleased Cue

I was thrown off early on by a shared motif that made me positive it was Twilight’s Last Gleaming...but I ran it by the Odyssey team and it was investigated and shot down. We all brainstormed a bit but yes, we all missed Matinee...hearing this cue was Matinee increased Jens’s interest in an expansion about tenfold.

(I already wanted one of course, even though I didn’t remember this cue.)

I imagine that because much of the score was performed by soloists, and Universal is very much into expanding their score albums, that this Horner classic is definitely possible at some point.

Sadly Field of Dreams (which this is) is a Sony-owned album, so unless it’s one of the few Intrada or LLL have in the pipeline already, it won’t be happening for the foreseeable future now.

This one is doesn't fit the subject, because it's not one cue that didn't get released. Much to my frustration nothing from this has been released, but it's a cool cue I thought I'd share anyway. The second half sounds like a mix of early 80's James Horner and Arthur B Rubinstein.
