Here's a new one. There's a lot of call for an expanded edition of this score and rightly so. Although if I had a time limit I probably would have selected the same tracks they did for the original program. Many of the action cues are variations on the same idea. However, this cue in particular is sorely missed.

Max's Journey Through The Wasteland.
Silva recorded this in Prague in the 90s. When that band was...er, still learning....
Due to this I never heard it.

Telling you, that big rig into compound cue ain't no variation- rivals William's Desert Chase in Raiders for sheer unrelenting thematic breathtaking gusto. Better IMHO!!!

Sounds like the amazing and criminally underrated Arthur B. Rubinstein to me. Probably from Scarecrow and Mrs. King. What a wonderful composer!

Hmmm....Chris Malone make his first post ever on the Intrada forum, right after a post from John Takis. Is it possible they are both working with Roger on an upcoming release of Rubenstein's music for The Scarecrow and Mrs. King, or is that just wishful thinking?

Hi Yavar!

Sorry, I had been meaning to participate at the forum here for years, had enjoyed Roger’s clips, and thought this one had that wonderful Rubinstein signature. I’d love to work on more of Rubinstein’s oeuvre but I’m certainly not in progress with Scarecrow and Mrs.King!

Go well and keep up the fantastic Goldsmith Odyssey work!

Welcome to the forum, Chris! It's so good to have you here, and I'm glad Roger tempted you to participate with his wonderful thread.

Maybe one day he'll make his dream of a Scarecrow and Mrs. King release come true, and if he does I hope he asks you and John to work on it since you both clearly care about Rubinstein as much as he does!

Yavar

P.S. Thanks for supporting us at The Goldsmith Odyssey and we look forward to having you join us some time. I realize it'll be a couple years before we arrive at something you've worked on, but if there's anything from Goldsmith's early 60s period you're passionate about and want to join us for, it's yours as long as no one else has already spoken up for it. :)

Hi Yavar

It would certainly be a pleasure to appear on The Goldsmith Odyssey and I'm happy to do so at the appropriate point in your journey!

Chris
