The samples for this new release indicate a recording that no longer sounds like it came from a third-generation cassette. And the newly released material is far better and more intriguing than I had imagined.

Oh, and "Hip Hop Christmas" performed by Kamen. Don't mess with his Adidas.

I'm a big believer in building anticipation and not giving away the thing everybody wants. There are plenty of new bits and pieces in the samples though. "Shoot The Glass" is one I was stunned to hear. Also the alternate version of "The Vault" will startle you.

Listening to the alternate main title, it's funny how much difference in impact a sharp brass stab can make. A much more varied experience can be achieved if the new tracks are mixed appropriately, to say the least.

Oh, and after listening to Kamen's rap, I think he may have added a little too much of the good stuff to his eggnog. Thank goodness he didn't quit his day job.

Any idea when this might be finally back in stock?
