It's hard to remember everything that qualifies.

Varese's Dracula, The Cowboys and Grusin albums were amazing surprises. LLL's Colossus, Airport collection, Alien 3, One Red Shoe and Die Hard(est) are the complete opposite of shabby. Another Stakeout and Harper from Intrada were long awaited, and their Robin Hood album is perhaps the best "expansion I never knew I wanted" that I've bought in years.

Forgot about the Rain Man done right release from that interesting new label consisting of familiar names, Notefornote Music.

Nothing from the rest of this year topped Bruce Broughton's Three Musketeers for me! That was a blind buy that turned out even more delightful than I anticipated.
