Well, I was going to post a link to an Ennio Morricone interview that I thought was funnier than hell but now Ennio Morricone has denied the interview took place and has instructed his attorneys to sue Playboy Germany.

You guys hear about it?

Whatever the case, both are among the best in their field yet have always been set in their ways. It seems a more popular thing these days for people to trash Tarantino's films, so it wouldn't surprise me if people deceptively used Morricone in that way.

I'm waiting for an update. Either Ennio had a little too much vino before the interview or there's a crazy old Italian man out there masquerading as Maestro Morricone.

I don't know. I think that if you're Tarantino, you have reached a level of personal achievement where someone like Morricone could say that stuff and you still have the ability to respect his work and hire him for your own projects.

That said, there's a lot of exaggerated noise out there; more than ever before. Next we'll read the headline: "90-Year-Old Morricone Drop Kicks and Power Bombs Reporter from Atop the Eiffel Tower."

Ennio Morricone seems to have become another victim of the new media. Anyone who gets noticed by those bastards is immediately subjected to rumors, lies and gossip, it's how they make their money. Liars are a lowly bunch.

The best thing to do is laugh about it straight to their faces, the risk there is that they'll likely try to bring it down to another level out of spite. I've dealt with a few of the creeps myself, they'll stoop to any low in order to cover up their lies and then lie some more about what they've been lying about.

The World was and always will be a bad place as long as there's people in it. We suck.
