Just as the thread title indicates, which Varese deluxe editions do you feel most put a score in a much better light? I'll offer five such releases: The Cowboys RoboCop 3 Volcano Outbreak Under Siege 2 |

Aliens, save for the bad mixing on "Ripley's Rescue". |

GREMLINS 2's deluxe edition is, to this day, the absolute happiest and most ecstatic a film score release of any kind has ever made me. |

I hope you and your darling wife made amends, because Gremlins 2 is one of my most savored scores of all time and I adore every single note of it! Up until the DE, such a release was my all-time holy grail (Child's Play 2 ranked second). |

I don't know about American Costco locations but here in Canada they have pretty tasty polish sausages (with a Pepsi!) and chicken wings. Costco ain't that bad....and you killed it with LLL's Titanic (and the many Treks to the stars...) Love your work. |

Does anyone know why Varese's (excellent) release of Rooster Cogburn has the "Deluxe Edition" designation? It's a premiere. |

Good point, I have no idea and yes I agree it's excellent. |

Man, RoboCop 3 is so much better in its expanded form. Still surprised that the end credits were recorded as such, as prior to the expansion I assumed that it was an edited suite. |

What a shame. Rooster Cogburn is a wonderful Rosenthal score! |
