Finally got around to hearing this new recording. It sure is a much better listen than the original cheap synth renderings. The extended march is a primary example of why this kind of effort is completely worthwhile, though an alternate of the march in a traditional symphonic arrangement would have been quite interesting. This album is billed as a labor of love and it certainly shows. What say anyone else? |
