I already mentioned this on another thread, but I felt that this was important enough to discuss on a separate topic. I recently ordered MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE from Amazon UK, understanding that I was getting the expanded edtition that was released by Silva in 92. I paid over 50 US dollars for it, but I felt this was personally worthhit! What I received instead was a duplicated (CDR) copy of the original 1987 version inside of a jewel case with duplicated artwork! People who read this website: Don't order soundtracks from soundtrack_man unless you want to gamble away your money! |

Can't say I don't sympathise, Rick. I've gotten burned by "promos" at least twice (the Agent Cody Banks one I bought was such an obvious bootleg that I've never played it)... at least with Soundtrackers you know what you're getting for the most part (Gerry Kroll always specifies what's a CD-R and what isn't, for starters). |

You have a gurentee with Amazon -- you should be able to get your money back if the seller doesn't refund you. -Joshua |

That's right. Take advantage of the guarantee and everything should come out fine. I have made use of this guarantee whenever items were lost in the mail or defective. Since the seller basically betrayed you by not mentioning in the description that the item is a CD-r you have all the right in the world to demand your money back. I also find it scary how many cd-r's and bootlegs are now being sold over amazon marketplace. It seems to be a problem that only started quite recently because i never noticed it so strongly before. |
