Roger, what is the source for your information regarding Williams' stance on those scores? Have you heard it directly from Williams himself? STORY OF A WOMAN has been my no. 1 JW wish for a number of years now, ever since I finally saw the film. |

That's interesting...does Williams have more control over his scores than say, Horner did over his? I ask that because when FSM put out their two Horner Star Trek scores, Kendall admitted on a podcast (called "Melodic Trek") that he didn't involve Horner at all, didn't ask, didn't consider him whatsoever, particularly because he didn't want him getting in the way of releasing a complete score for each film. Yet, as we all know, Intrada and La-La Land have worked with every composer they can, or their representatives and respect their personal wishes regarding score expansions / premiere releases. |
