I'll start with Jerry Goldsmith reusing his theme for the rejected Alien Nation score in The Russia House. In its own right, the melody's beauty can only be fully captured with the accompaniment of orchestral flourish. Anyone else have favorites in this category? |

Not so much of a rejected score but I couldn't believe my ears, when I dusted off the score to Octopussy only to hear what sounded like the theme for Kylo Ren from SWTFA. Which to be honest kind of suited Star Wars more than a Bond movie. |

Not a rejected score but one elevated to a higher profile. I always found Elmer Bernstein's gentle secondary theme for Saturn 3 worked much more vividly when it was resurrected as "Taarna's Theme" in Heavy Metal. But this is probably a different topic altogether. --Doug |
