I guess 2004 was perhaps the worst year for composers dying.... Of course Goldsmith, Bernstein, and I believe Raksin died that year as well.... any others in 2004? |

Ernest Gold died in 1999, not long after I found an autographed copy of Ship Of Fools at some junkstore in Venice, California. Before the internet word spread slowly, I only became aware of Georges Delerue passing in 1992 by hearing it on some far off, barely audible radio station when I was in Ohio. |

Sadly, we also lost Daniel Licht (THINNER, DEXTER, HELLRAISER: BLOODLINE) last summer. |
