I'm uncertain if this is exclusive to only me, but I was wondering if any other collectors out there seem to notice their CD booklets begin to warp or have a wave effect over time? Perhaps humidity or some other factor? Not all seem to do this, of course, but I've noticed it on some. Any thoughts?

I can't say I ever noticed this. I put my CDs in boxes after I rip them as I have almost no use for them thereafter, so that may add extra protection from the effects of humidity.

Ah, good thinking.

The deterioration is probably doe to the fact that the booklets are not printed on archival, acid-free paper. Or moisture.

The booklets are part of the value of these CD releases, for me, and from time to time I certainly return to them for their information, the histories, and frequently the beauty of their printed images. Humidity in Chicago can get pretty oppressive in summers, yet I have never had a problem with booklet warping.

Are you always careful to return them to the jewel cases so that they lie flat between the front and ALL the guide pins without getting wrapped around any pins, top or bottom?
