| Post subject: | Composer with his own sound |
I have a few of Lewis' scores and he's definitely a composer whose scores have a certain sound to them. Of the scores of his I do have I'd say that my favourite is The Sphinx followed closely by The Medusa Touch. |

As written in my "Intrada Announces... (October 9)" message, Theatre of Blood is precisely one of the scores I have included the round out the order. I received the Midnite Movies DVD last week, and have only had time to watch the main titles and to browse through the DVD, but I immediately decided to look for the score upon hearing the superb Main Title. I lvoe the opening, both visually and musically. I don't have anything by Lewis yet, though I have a few titles of his on my "to buy" list, based on samples. I'm glad to read the whole score is as good as the Main Titles-- thanks! |
