I'm still interested to find out if Fox scores are now Intrada territory only.

The Fox archive is well represented anyway. We all have our wants from there, but there is plenty of stuff that escaped.

What do you mean by escaped?

Meaning that they were released from the vaults. Fox doesn't have all that many interesting film/TV music properties left to release.

I'd agree - we've been pretty lucky over the last 20 years with all the Fox stuff that's come out. There are a few high profile titles that might have a problem now, though. LLL's long delayed X-Men CD, for one.

True, we have been very lucky to get the Golden Age and Silver Age CDs we have over the past 20+ years. I would think Disney would have to honor the Fox scores now under contract for future CDs, but after that? :?:

Keep in mind that the deal is expected to take 12-18 months to pass regulatory review and be completed. Until then, nothing is likely to change.

You mean to tell me nothing will change until one or two years, yet media is making a fuss out of it?

Way to get me riled up for nothin!

It is a very big deal in the entertainment industry and worth making a fuss about right now. That is unless you are only interested in the essentially unimportant CD score release aspect of it all.

The time needed for it to finalize will pass quickly. One year from now you'll look at this thread and wonder where the time went.

I'll bet that next year, LLL et al put Fox projects on to their priority list. If they have any doubt about being able to release stuff when the merger is completed, they will want to get those projects done as soon as possibe.

Those tens of thousands of dollars would be more wisely spent on Fox stock.

Likely a much better return on investment to buy shares of Fox than to produce score albums from a pool of titles that barely anyone would purchase at this point.
