Anyone who sees this film, let us know what you think of the score in context. I listened to some of it on YouTube and there seems to be a decent amount of imitating the emotional resonance from Vangelis' masterwork, which can't be a bad thing.

Not really interested in these mega scores, prefer the lesser known, unsung classics. Hans Zimmer doesn't do it for me. His track from the score from the 1985 Nicolas Roeg film Insignificance, B29 (The Shape Of The Universe) I consider to be a blatant ripoff of what Bill Laswell was doing at the time with tracks like Upright Man and 1984.

It has been a while since I've last seen a film with a Zimmer score that I felt he was truly inspired to create. Rush is probably the most recent, with an ending that literally put a tear to my eye.
