I'm proud to say that I'm the author of this most current topic about MOTU, and that it has received so much response! Does anyone know how long the complete score is?

I only know that the Silva release is about 69 min long. And if you like the MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE style so much, you should quickly get (Bill Conti) from the Varèse Sarabande CD Club collection, before it's sold out.

I just received my "copy" of MOTU that I ordered from Amazon UK. Let me just warn EVERYBODY at this sight: don't ever buy anything from soundtrack_man. He will hoodwink you!! He advertised the Silva 69 minute version... not only did he send me the 42 minute varese version, but he sent me a CDR of it with duplicated cover art! And yes, I shelled out 50 plus bucks for it. Needless to say, live and learn. I am going to try to receieve a refund... Has anyone here ever experienced this BAIT AND SWITCH online? What did you do?

I've had the exact same problem with MOTU. I got my money back from Paypal. Still haven't left feedback left yet, this shall be a very red one.

The guy said he did buy this from another guy and had no clue about it being a homemade copy. Another lame excuse been used 1000 times before.

I've not been tricked once on eBay for the last 7 years, but almost 6 times this year. What's happening on eBay?

I wonder if this is stemming from a seller a while back (I think it might have been from Brazil) on Ebay who had 20 -- yes 20 of them in a Dutch auction on eBay.

I emailed the seller and asked what label it was. The response? "Why do you want to know?"
