THE RAZOR'S EDGE is prime Alfred Newman, a release that I'm delighted to see. The Tiomkin disc is nice, too... oh, man- just when I started to slow down--- I have a feeling it's going to be an expensive fall. |

And I love the way the piece introduces everyone by revealing their sexual orientation! - in fact, I like it so much I think I might start doing it in all of my writing. In some ways, it reminds me of my mother - who is straight - who always mentions someone's height and weight when speaking about someone famous. ("Did you see that Harrison Ford [who is straight] movie on tv last night?" "No." "Did you know, he's six foot two and weights fourteen stone! At his age!" "No.") |
