It would seem that most of his film scores that have been released are... well, crap. But he does have an occasional gem, like HOUSE ON SORORITY ROW and MUTANT. His RE-ANIMATOR is a fun romp and is a nice nod to Bernard Herrmann's scores. Also, try THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM which is quite gothic and filled with Carmina Burana like chants. Another late '80's score, that saw an LP release, but no CD yet, was Renny Harlin's U.S. debut, PRISON (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095904/ ). This is easily one of Bands best scores (also written by by Richard Stone) and is well worth tracking down.
Or... if you've got the spare change, try his royalty free production library
http://www.smartsound.com/filmscore/ . Read a press release here
http://www.smartsound.com/press/2005/2005-10-17.html .
He also appears to have a website,
http://www.richardbandmusic.com , but it doesn't seem to be loading at this time.
Enjoy,
